Omar Binadai is the Chief Technology and Infrastructure Officer of Dubai Airports, leading the transformation of the organisation’s technology solutions and overseeing the ongoing maintenance of its critical infrastructure.
Omar started his journey with Dubai Airports as a communications engineer in 1994 and has since served in different key positions. He played an important role in the delivery of the multibillion-dollar Phase 2 and Phase 3 expansions of Dubai International (DXB) and developed a first-in-the-region structured method of investment modelling for infrastructure assets. As a keen analyst and leader, he has continually delivered verifiable business growth and strengthened the organisation’s relationship with its multiple service partners.
An industry veteran with over two decades of experience, Omar has an impressive career history and has played a key role in the development and positioning of Dubai Airports globally.
Omar received his Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in Electronics from Boston University in the United States, before graduating from the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Programme in 2007 with specialisations in policy making and environmental sustainability, among others. He also holds qualifications in Crisis and Consequence Management from leading business schools like Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
